Agriculture and rural development has function to play in upliftment of living standard by reducing poverty and creating opportunities. India is blessed with rich diversity and different parts of the country possesses uniqueness. This rich heritage can be used for development of society. It important to note that Agriculture has always been and still continues to be main source of employment for majority of the Indian population.
